The Veterans Alliance of Southwest Montana has been recognized as an advocate for veterans.
The Veterans Alliance has taken the lead on funding a Veterans Columbarium Plaza at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman.
The Veterans Alliance includes the American Legion Post #14, American Legion Post # 30, American Legion Post #87, Order of the Purple Hearts, Marine Corps League Robert A, Ellerd Detachment, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1825, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 12112, and Vietnam Veterans of America Southwest Montana Chapter 788.
Here in Gallatin County, the Veterans Alliance has become an advocate for veterans facing criminal charges, homelessness, struggling with behavioral health issues or substance use disorders.
Members of the Veterans Alliance serve as advocates at Bozeman Veterans Eligible Treatment Services (V.E.T.S.) Court, Gallatin County Criminal Justice Council, and Gallatin County Mental Health Local Advisory Council.
