All members of Gallatin Post 14,
We hope this note finds you healthy and well. To say it has been busy lately at Gallatin Post 14 is an understatement. We had a very successful Memorial Day Breakfast, Parade and Gold Star Families Monument Dedication. Thank you to all of you who helped pull this incredible event off.
Our next event is tomorrow (Flag Day) when we will install the flag display on Main Street. Anyone available to help, please meet behind the Post at 6:00AM on Tuesday, June 14th. We could also use help taking the display down at 4:00PM on Tuesday afternoon. With enough help this task takes less than an hour.
We are looking for some volunteers on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 10:00AM to assist with moving retired flags. We have a large volume of flags that will be retired later this month and they need to be moved from the Post. We are looking for help moving these from the basement at 225 East Main Street.
Please be aware we will not be holding Membership Meetings for July and August as these dates coincide with Music on Main events. July and August are a great time to patronize the Post while visiting downtown.
Our Membership meetings will resume in September. They are held at 1800 hours on the second Thursday of each month in the Upstairs Meeting Room at 225 East Main Street. These meetings are open to all American Legion and Sons of the American Legion members.
Please visit our website to see photos from our recent events as well as current information about Post 14 and the valuable resources available to Veterans throughout Montana.
Respectfully,
Frank Harriman
